The name has nothing to do with the television series – though it has everything to do with the instinct to be somewhere better. Around 2001, two Manly locals named Ross and Will began meeting at East Esplanade Park after work for sunset drinks over the harbour. A passer-by asked if it was their office. It was, and it still is.
By 2008 the spot had its own geotag. The views across the water, the evening light, and the quiet understanding that this is exactly where you should be – none of that has changed.
