Cross to the harbour side of the peninsula and the pace changes entirely. Little Manly Cove faces west across the water toward Mosman, catching the afternoon light in a way that the ocean beaches never do. The surf doesn't reach here – the water is still, the swimming enclosure fenced and safe for young children, and the rock pools along the headland reveal themselves slowly at low tide.
A café kiosk sits nearby. The sunset, on a clear evening, is reason enough to make the walk.
About 25 minutes on foot from Elysium Manly.
