St. Alma

Set in the old Bendigo Bank building on Albert Street in Freshwater village, St. Alma is a coastal Mexican restaurant and cocktail bar with an open kitchen, bar seating and large street-facing windows. The menu is seafood-led and built for sharing – ceviche, tostadas, tacos, slow-cooked meats – inspired by the street food of Mexico's coast. The cocktail list is agave-forward and taken seriously. The "trust the chef" and "trust the barman" options are worth considering.
