Silo has been part of Manly long enough that the regulars don't think twice about it – they just show up. The original tilework in the Sydney Road shopfront has been there from the start, and so has the approach: a house-roasted blend, a machine built to spec and since exported to cafés around the world, and a menu that brings Brazilian flavour into a distinctly Northern Beaches setting.
The coffee is strong, consistent, and made by people who know what they're doing. The cappuccino, finished with real chocolate, has its own following among the post-swim crowd.
