School Holidays in Manly

This summer, our days are planned around families, and none of them run to a schedule. Mornings might mean the rooftop pool or the games room, afternoons often end at Cibaria's gelato counter, and evenings drift into a film together. None of it is scheduled. All of it is there when you want it.

Above the Ocean

Our Level 8 rooftop pool sits between the sky and the sea, close enough to hear the waves without leaving the water. There is room for a quiet lap for the adults, an easy joy for the little ones. At noon each day, Zooper Doopers arrive poolside, best enjoyed with the horizon in front of you.

Made for the Younger Ones

Our games room on Level 1 is open daily from 8am to 8pm. It is where children find their own version of the holiday - games, craft and company their own age. On cinema days, we close at 4pm to prepare the room for the afternoon. Please note, the games room is not supervised, and children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian throughout their visit.

Gelato, After Everything

Some afternoons call for gelato. Cibaria's counter is the reward at the end of a beach walk, a pool session, or simply a good day – scoops chosen slowly, eaten slower.

The Scavenger Hunt 

For a slower kind of adventure, ask at reception for your scavenger hunt guide. The trail winds through the hotel and can be followed at any hour, in any order, and as far as the day allows.

Kids Seaside Cinema

As the afternoon softens, the lights go down and the screen goes up. Seaside Cinema runs from 4.30pm to 6pm on Level 1, on these days:

• Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 January

Face Painting

From 12pm to 2pm on Level 1, our face painter sets up for a few unhurried hours. Children arrive as themselves and leave as something altogether more daring.

Candy Cane Hunt

On Wednesday 23 December at 1pm, the children set off in search of candy canes hidden throughout the hotel. A small Christmas tradition, and a sweet one.

Christmas Reading Nook

In the lobby, we set aside a corner for stories and stillness. It is open all day until 29 December, with nowhere to be.
